Writer, pediatric neurologist, mother. There’s no such thing as a day job — I’m always all three.

I’ve been a writer since I pondered the safari animals on my school folder as a six-year-old and felt compelled to scratch out their character traits in my wide-ruled notebook. Writing has always been a joy, a passion, and a diversion. Especially from studying in med school.

Then in 2023, a life changing diagnosis robbed me of my love for trail running, and the sliver of time between neurology and motherhood widened.

Now, I read and write out of a desire to distill life, to escape, and most of all, to connect — with the authors I read, and with you, reader.
